American soldier slide show and captions(review)

American Soldier Slide Show and Captions:

A. What is the most powerful image from the slideshows? Why?      I think photo # 19 is the most powerful image from the slideshow.Because because it was taken after the first weeks of basic training but they were intended to break down the recruits to nothing.

B. Through the photos, Ian is in different locations, each set of photos from the same location comprise a short series or set.

Set #1 at home in Denver-Images #s 1-10
Set #2 at basic training-Images #s 11-28
Set #3 in Iraq-Images #s 50-70
Set #4 back in Denver-Images #s 70-83

Which set of images was the most powerful? Why?
I think images 6-7 were the most powerful. Because it was Ian was about to go to training and it was the most emotional moment of the slide show.
C. How do the images work together to tell a story?
Images work together to tell a story with the captions in the slide show.
3. Underneath each photo is the caption that ran in the Denver Post.

A. For the photos in which Ian is the main subject of the photos, in what tense are the verbs usually written? The photos in which Ian is the main subject of the photos is past tense.

B. How do the captions enhance the photographs? Because it tells a story instead of it being just a ordinary boring slide show.

A. Write three of your own captions to photos without looking at the caption written by the photographer.  Image # 17 Ian getting stared down by his drill sergeant in the armys basic training.

Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO- How do they all work?

1. What part of the body should we closely relate aperture?
    We should relate Aperture to our eye.
2. Finish the sentence - the smaller the Aperture the bigger the F-stop the higher the Aperture the smaller the F-stop.
